Cupcake Creations

I'm an excellent baker (so I've been told) BUT I'm a horrible cake/cupcake decorator! I love adorable cupcakes but I just can't seem to produce them, mine don't look horrible but I just want a gorgeous presentation to match the taste! I came across a tumblr page earlier this week TheCakeBar and I saw some really cute designs that I KNOW I can recreate and add my own flair to, I definitely will be trying these for Valentine's day ;-)

Elegant Stud

Every stylish girl in the tri-state area including myself has been  going bananas over the Jeffrey Campbell Lita's the past year or so but I recently spotted these Elegant Studs on Sole Struck and I think they're adorable! TOTALLY different from his usual collections but of course still hot! They'll cost you $145 which isn't bad considering all of the detailing and studs

Organization

I am not afraid to admit I'm a product junkie, from shampoo to lotion to lipstick to primer I have many different brands, the problem is I often forget what I have because none of my products are properly organized. I remember watching the Kardashian's and seeing the girls have these nice clear cosmetic organizers Kim said Kris had them specially made but of course I googled them and they are available at a variety of places. I will definitely be purchasing one or two.

What is a Vision Board?



"A vision board (also called a Treasure Map or a Visual Explorer or Creativity Collage) is typically a poster board on which you paste or collage images that you’ve torn out from various magazines. It’s simple.

The idea behind this is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires."



I just completed my 2012 vision board, while most people create a vision board with things they want for the future I decided to create a vision board with images and phrases for my immediate future 2012. Things that I want to accomplish and obtain by Dec 31st if this specific approach helps me reach my goals I'll do another next year and so on. Here's a few samples. None of them are mine, but I definitely have fitness on there like most of these samples.

Happy New Year Dolls!

last week I compiled a short list, (which will continue to grow as I complete things on the list) of random things I'm going to do this year. Here's what I have so far:

- learn to play checkers and eventually chess
- learn Spanish
- take a CPR class
- save $10 a week (I'm terrible at saving!!!!!)
- learn 5 new words a week
